Rubber Damper 15x15mm

Rubber damping element, absorbing shocks and vibration. Depending on the model, it is fitted at the pump-motor unit mounting or within the unit's housing structure.

Application

The damper limits the transmission of vibration and shocks between cooperating structural components – in the therm Starlet 3 it works at the pump-motor unit mounting on vibration isolators, while in the 115-185 models it acts as a damper within the housing and frame of the unit.

Symptoms – when to replace

• Increased vibration transmitted to the housing or handle of the pressure washer during operation, not present on a new machine.
• The damper is flattened, hardened or cracked on inspection.
• Metallic knocking or rattling during operation, which stops when the component near the damper is pressed by hand.
• Visible displacement or play of the component the damper was meant to stabilize.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43419 and the 15x15mm size – note the suffix on the number, as the "43.419 2" variant (15x20mm) is a different, non-interchangeable size used on other models.

When ordering for the 115-185 models, remember that 4 pieces are used per machine – it's worth checking the condition of all of them when replacing one.

How does this damper differ from the 15x20mm variant (43.419 2) used on other therm models?|It differs in size – the 15x15mm in this product is smaller than the 15x20mm variant used on the therm 7-15/10-17 or therm-RP Starlet 3. Despite the very similar catalog number, they are not interchangeable.

The 115-185 models use 4 dampers – do all of them need to be replaced at once?

They can be replaced individually as they wear, but since they work under similar conditions, it's worth assessing the condition of the other three when replacing one.
