Screw 3.5x19

Self-tapping screw 3.5×19mm compliant with DIN 7981, designed for fastening sheet metal components. Widely used in housings and electrical boxes on Kränzle pressure washers.

Application

The screw secures sheet metal housing components – depending on the model, this may be the chemical valve cover, an electrical box panel, or another mounting element. The self-tapping thread allows direct installation into a hole in the sheet metal, without a separate nut.

Symptoms – when to replace

• The thread in the sheet metal is worn and the screw spins without tightening.
• The screw head is broken off or the driver socket is stripped.
• The panel or cover is loose despite all screws being present at that location.
• Visible corrosion of the shaft making removal difficult during disassembly.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 44162 and the 3.5×19mm size – the screw is used across many different Kränzle series in the same mounting role, so the catalog number is a more reliable reference than appearance alone.

When ordering, count carefully how many pieces are missing at a given location – some models use this screw at several different points at once, e.g. at the chemical valve cover on the therm CA.
