Oil Drain Hose Plug

Plastic plug closing the end of the oil drain hose from the pump drive mechanism. Prevents oil leakage through the hose during normal operation of the unit.

Application

The plug tightly closes the oil drain hose (Ölablassschlauch), routed outside the drive mechanism housing to make oil changes easier without dismantling the housing. During normal operation the plug stays fitted and is only removed while draining the used oil.

Symptoms – when to replace

• Oil seeping from the end of the drain hose despite the plug being fitted.
• The plug doesn't seal tightly or falls out of the hose end on its own.
• The plug's thread or snap fit is worn, cracked, or damaged.
• Visible oil traces on the housing near the drain hose, with no other leaks in the drive mechanism.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 44130 – it's worth comparing with the removed plug for the mounting method (thread or snap fit), since different series may use a slightly different drain hose design.

When replacing the plug, also check the condition of the oil drain hose itself (44.128 1) – if the hose is cracked or stiff, a new plug alone won't provide a fully tight system.
