Metal pump outlet component with a built-in injector (Venturi nozzle) and M22x1.5 thread for connecting the high-pressure hose. Responsible for drawing detergent into the water stream.

Application

The fitting forms the pump outlet and, at the same time, the detergent suction point – the constriction inside the injector (Venturi effect) generates a vacuum that draws detergent through the check valve (Saugzapfen with ball and spring) located just behind this component. The M22x1.5 thread is used to connect the high-pressure hose or gun.

Symptoms – when to replace

  • No detergent suction despite a sound suction hose and filter and correct working pressure.
  • Water leak at the M22x1.5 thread or at the seat of the 18x2 O-ring (43.446).
  • Visible pitting, corrosion or damage to the injector bore inside the fitting.
  • Uneven, weak detergent suction – varying between startups.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43447 and the ST30 designation – the injector bore size affects the proportion of detergent drawn in, so switching to a different injector variant will change the dosing characteristics.

When replacing, also check the condition of the suction check valve (5.5mm ball and spring) just behind this component and the 18x2 O-ring – detergent suction problems rarely come from a single component.

[faq]

What does the "ST30" designation on this part mean?|It denotes a specific injector bore variant, affecting how much detergent is drawn in – different bore sizes give different water-to-detergent mixing ratios.

The machine isn't drawing in detergent despite a new fitting – what else should I check?|Check the flow through the suction hose with filter, the condition of the check valve ball and spring right behind the fitting, and the seal of the 18x2 O-ring – any one of these components can independently block suction.

Does the system need to be drained of water before removing this fitting?|Yes, replacement requires depressurizing the high-pressure system – it's best to shut off the water supply and release pressure by opening the gun before starting disassembly.
