Cam 13,0

Cam 41028613 with an angle of 13.0°, made of aluminium, is a drive component of the Kranzle Profi-Jet B 10/200 pressure washer pump. Mounted on the pump shaft, with a thrust bearing pack underneath it and the pump housing further down. The rotary motion of the motor turns the cam – its 13.0° angle generates the motion transferred through the bearing onto the pump pistons, converting shaft rotation into their reciprocating movement.

Application

The cam is mounted on the shaft of the Profi-Jet B 10/200 pump. With each shaft rotation, the cam, set at a 13.0° angle, moves the pistons via the thrust bearing resting against its surface. The 13.0° angle determines piston stroke, and through that, the flow rate and pressure characteristics of the pump.

Replaced during cam assembly repair – after identifying wear on the cam surface, damage to the thrust bearing, or as part of a comprehensive Profi-Jet B 10/200 pump drive overhaul.

Symptoms – when to replace

• Vibration or irregular pump rhythm not caused by piston seals or valves – suggesting wear of the cam working surface or thrust bearing.
• Visible signs of seizure, scoring or dull wear marks at the contact surface between the cam and the bearing.
• Axial play on the shaft with the cam fitted – wear of the component at the mounting position or in the bearing pack.
• Damage to the thrust bearing combined with signs of heating on the cam – bearing seizure frequently causes secondary damage to the cam surface.
• Corrosion or mechanical damage to the aluminium body – particularly at points of contact with the steel components of the bearing pack in the presence of moisture in the pump housing.

How to select the right part

Two parameters must match simultaneously: the 13.0° angle and the Profi-Jet B 10/200 pump model. Identify by reference number 41028613.

Cam 41028613 (Profi-Jet B 10/200, 13.0°) is not a substitute for cam 410286115 (11.5°, Profi-Jet B 13/150 / 170 T / 200 T) despite belonging to the same Profi-Jet B line – the angle difference and different pump model rule out interchangeability. During disassembly, always read the angle and number from the removed cam before ordering.

Assess the condition of the bearing pack at the same time – both components work together and wear over a similar timeframe.
