Thermostat Knob

External knob for adjusting water temperature, fitted on the stem of the electronic rotary thermostat in the electrical box.

Application

The knob is mounted directly on the stem of the electronic rotary thermostat, allowing the user to set the desired water temperature. It sits in the thermostat holder with a seal, protecting the inside of the electrical box from moisture.

Symptoms – when to replace

• The knob turns freely with no resistance, not transferring movement to the thermostat setting.
• The knob is cracked, broken off, or loosely seated on the thermostat stem.
• Water temperature doesn't change despite turning the knob, with a sound electronic thermostat.
• Visible damage to the self-tapping screw fastening connecting the knob to the stem.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 44153 – the same part fits the therm 715, therm 1017 and all therm CA variants (11/130, 12/150, 15/120).

When replacing the knob, also assess the condition of the electronic rotary thermostat itself (44.951) and the seal (44.818) – no adjustment effect despite a sound knob often points to these components.
