Ball bearing with double rubber seal, fitted in the motor on the B side (opposite the fan and coupling). Listed in the parts catalog generically as the B-side bearing.

Application

The bearing supports the motor shaft on the B side, working together with the A-side bearing (43.026) on the opposite end. It ensures smooth shaft rotation and carries the radial loads generated during motor operation.

Symptoms – when to replace

  • Audible rumbling or squealing from the motor during operation, worsening over time.
  • Noticeable play in the motor shaft when the fan is moved by hand after removing the cover.
  • Motor vibration transmitted to the unit housing, not present on a new machine.
  • Overheating of the motor housing near the bearing during extended operation.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43025 and the bearing designation SKF 6204 2RSH C3 – both designations are equivalent and can be used interchangeably for identification.

When replacing the B-side bearing, also check the condition of the A-side bearing (43.026) – uneven wear on one side often accelerates wear on the other bearing.

[faq]

Do both bearings (A and B) need to be replaced at once, or can just one be replaced?

They can be replaced individually if only one shows signs of wear. However, on a motor with a lot of service history, it's worth considering replacing both to avoid dismantling the motor again a few months later.

Does the 2RSH C3 designation matter, or would a plain 6204 bearing without these markings work?|Yes, it matters – the 2RSH seal protects the bearing from moisture and contamination typical of pressure washer operation, and the increased C3 clearance compensates for thermal expansion during motor operation. A plain bearing without these specifications may wear out faster under these conditions.
