Switch 12A Schurter

Circuit breaker with built-in 12A overload protection, fitted in the motor's electrical box. Combines the power-on function with motor protection against overload.

Application

The breaker is fitted in the motor's electrical box, in a mounting frame with a seal. It switches the pump motor power on and off, and automatically cuts power when the current exceeds 12A, protecting the motor from overheating in case of overload or a blocked pump.

Symptoms – when to replace

• The breaker trips on its own shortly after starting, despite no visible overload of the pump or motor.
• The button sticks in the pressed position or cannot be reset after the protection trips.
• The pressure washer doesn't start despite a working mains supply and a functional capacitor.
• Visible signs of overheating or discoloration on the breaker housing in the electrical box.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43033 and the 12A protection rating – within the HD series, the 7/122 TS model uses a different variant (8.5A, MPN 43329), so it's worth confirming the exact machine model, not just the HD family, before ordering.

When replacing, check the condition of the mounting frame with seal (Klemmrahmen mit Schalterabdichtung) in the same location – it has a different catalog number between HD and K 1152, despite the same function.
