Sleeve securing the pressure gauge in the unit's housing, providing a tight and stable seat for the gauge. Works together with the gauge clamp.

Application

The sleeve forms a through-connection through which the gauge is fitted into the unit's housing or panel. It provides a tight passage for the pressure line to the gauge and a stable mounting for the gauge itself, working together with the mounting clamp (Klemmbügel für Manometer).

Symptoms – when to replace

  • The gauge wobbles or sits loosely in the housing, despite the mounting clamp being tightened.
  • Visible water leak or seeping at the sleeve's seat in the housing.
  • The sleeve is cracked, deformed, or has a damaged thread when disassembled.
  • The gauge falls out of its seat during operation or transport of the unit.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 44136 – the same part fits many different Kränzle series, so the catalog number is a more reliable reference than visual comparison.

When replacing the sleeve, also check the condition of the gauge mounting clamp (Klemmbügel für Manometer, 44.049) – a loose gauge often results from both components at once, not just the sleeve alone.

FAQ

Is the sleeve responsible for the pressure system's tightness, or only for holding the gauge in place?|It serves both functions – it provides a tight passage for the pressure line to the gauge and stabilizes its position in the housing. A damaged sleeve can therefore cause both gauge play and a leak.

I replaced the sleeve but the gauge still moves – what else should I check?|Check the condition of the mounting clamp (Klemmbügel für Manometer) and the tightness of its securing screws – the sleeve alone won't provide stability without a functional clamping bracket.
