In the pump hydraulic system, changing the direction of pipe routing requires an angled fitting. Elbow 40121 with a 1/4" male thread on one side and a 1/4" female thread on the other changes the flow direction by 90°.
Elbow 40121 is installed in the hydraulic system of the Kranzle pump at points where a 90° change in installation direction is required due to the housing geometry or the arrangement of connections.
Selection is based on reference number 40121 and thread configuration: male 1/4" on the mounting side in the seat and female 1/4" on the side of the connected component. Before ordering, check the thread direction at the installation point – confusing male with female will make installation impossible. The 90° angle is fixed – if the installation requires a different angle of direction change, a different fitting is required.
Kranzle catalogue part. Used among others in Kranzle pressure washer pumps with 1/4" connections in the hydraulic system. Verify compatibility with a specific model using reference number 40121 or the pump service diagram.
[faq] What can cause leakage at the thread despite correct tightening?|The most common causes are a damaged or dirty seat in the pump, insufficient thread sealing, or a damaged first thread turn on the male side of the elbow. It is worth cleaning the seat before installation and checking the elbow thread condition – pitting or damaged turns will not provide a seal regardless of the tightening torque applied. [/faq]
