The chemical valve regulates detergent suction in the pressure washer. Original Kränzle number: 46615 (46.615 in the catalog, "Chemieventil R 3/8" kpl."). It is a ready-made valve with the pump valve housing, not a single knob or needle. In the parts catalog it is item 46 on the valve housing list (Ventilgehäuse) of the Profi TST pressure washers.
The valve is fitted in the pump's valve housing. It sets how much detergent the pressure washer draws from an external container, or shuts suction off. Next to it, the catalog lists these components: R 3/8" angle valve body (46.600), valve needle (46.601), guide (46.602), knob (46.603), 6 mm Parbaks (46.606), brass screw M4x8 (46.604), suction nipple (13.236) and two brass washers (43.045). The catalog doesn't state explicitly which of them are included in set 46615.
Number 46.615 is in the Kränzle parts catalog for the Profi 160 TST, 175 TST and 195 TST (pages with the valve housing). The catalog also covers the Profi 15/120 TST, but the valve page doesn't state explicitly which models it applies to, so for the Profi 15/120 TST it's worth confirming fit by serial number or the removed valve. Does not fit quadro, therm or the X series, whose catalog doesn't include a chemical valve.
How does 46615 differ from 46610, since the component parts look similar?|The part numbers next to both valves in the catalogs are largely the same (including angle body 46.600 and needle 46.601), but they are two separate assemblies for different series. 46610 is in the quadro 9/170, 11/140 and 12/150 TST, and 46615 in the Profi TST. Don't order one in place of the other just because they look alike.
The valve on my Profi looks different from the photo. What should I check?|The model and serial number on the nameplate, and the valve thread (R 3/8" in the catalog). Older Kränzle pressure washers have a different assembly (e.g. 44052 with knob 44.151), which doesn't fit a Profi with an R 3/8" valve.
Detergent isn't drawn in. Should I replace the whole valve?|First check the flow through the suction hose and the filter in the container, and the tightness on the suction side. Replacing the valve makes sense when these are sound and the needle, Parbaks or seat are worn.
Can I replace just the Parbaks if it drips at the knob?|Often yes, because the 6 mm Parbaks (46.606) seals the stem. If the leak returns, the needle or guide is usually worn, and then it's better to replace the whole valve.
