Cover Mounting Washer

Washer fitted under the screws securing the unit's outer cover/panel. 6 pieces are used per machine.

Application

The washer spreads the pressure of the mounting screws (M8x80, M8x110) across the cover panel, preventing denting or deformation of the sheet metal at the tightening point. It provides a stable, even mounting of the outer cover to the unit's frame.

Symptoms – when to replace

• The cover is loose or vibrates during operation, despite the mounting screws being tightened.
• Visible denting or deformation of the cover panel where the washer sits.
• The washer is corroded, cracked, or missing when the cover is disassembled.
• Friction or wear marks on the housing where the washer should be located.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 44849 – it's worth ordering a full set matching the number of cover mounting points (6 per machine), so no holes are left without a washer.

When replacing the washers, also assess the condition of the mounting screws themselves (44.832, 44.826) – corroded or damaged screws may need replacing together with the washers.
