Check Valve Plug Junior

Small plug forming the check valve body, fitted in the pump. A sealing O-ring is included.

Application

The plug is part of the check valve in the pump – it prevents water from flowing back toward the pump inlet after the gun is closed, maintaining pressure in the high-pressure system.

Symptoms – when to replace

• The pressure gauge shows a pressure drop even with the gun closed – the check valve is not sealing properly.
• The pump runs unevenly or jerks on startup, which may indicate a leaking check valve.
• Visible water leak where the plug seats in the pump body.
• The O-ring on the plug is hardened, flattened or damaged.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43009 – the plug is designed exclusively for the AZ-type pump and does not fit AM or AQ pumps, even though all of them may contain check valves with a similar function.

When replacing, check the condition of the valve seat and the return spring in the same location – the plug with a new O-ring alone won't solve the problem if the seat or spring is damaged.
