Turbokiller Nozzle Rubber Guard

Guard 41528 is a rubber protective sleeve for the body of the Kranzle pressure washer Turbokiller rotary nozzle. It fits around the metal or plastic nozzle body from the outside, protecting it from mechanical damage when working close to cleaned surfaces. The rubber absorbs impacts and prevents the hard Turbokiller nozzle body from scratching more delicate substrates – particularly when cleaning vehicles, aluminium components or painted surfaces.

Application

The guard slides or fits onto the outer body of the Turbokiller nozzle as a protective element that stays in place throughout the life of the nozzle. When working at close range – particularly when cleaning grouting, corners and edges – the rubber guard makes contact with the substrate instead of the hard nozzle body. The rubber also acts as a thermal insulator during extended Turbokiller use, as the nozzle body heats up from the working water flowing through it.

Replaced when the rubber cracks, hardens, blisters or deforms in a way that prevents secure seating on the nozzle body.

Symptoms – when to replace

• Visible cracks or crumbling of the rubber – particularly at the sleeve edges, where the rubber is thinnest and shows material ageing first.
• Rubber hardened and brittle to the touch – loss of elasticity after prolonged UV exposure, detergents and temperature cycling. Hard rubber does not absorb impacts and may crack on the first contact with a hard surface.
• Guard does not sit securely on the nozzle body – noticeable play or sliding off during use indicates stretching or deformation of the rubber sleeve.
• Visible pitting or permanent surface deformation of the rubber after contact with aggressive cleaning agents.

How to select the right part

Identify by reference number 41528. Rubber guard 41528 is intended exclusively for the Kranzle Turbokiller nozzle – it is not a substitute for guards from other nozzle types of this brand (VarioJet – 411551, Dirtkiller). The sleeve dimensions are matched to the external diameter of the Turbokiller nozzle body – a guard from a different nozzle may be too loose or may not fit over the body.

Before ordering, check the condition of the Turbokiller nozzle body itself – a cracked or deformed body under the guard requires replacement of the complete nozzle, not just the rubber guard.
