Kränzle 2175 TST

The Kränzle K 2175 TST is a pressure washer powered by 400V (three-phase), fitted with a factory hose reel for the high-pressure hose and a Total Stop system. Working pressure is adjustable in the range of 30–160 bar, with a water flow rate of 12 l/min (1400 rpm). This variant is intended for users needing higher output and power than 230V units provide – service workshops, cleaning companies, construction sites, farms with access to a three-phase installation.

Application

The unit is built around a swash plate pump (Taumelscheibe 13.0°) with 18mm plungers, powered by a 400V/6.7A motor. The Total Stop system automatically switches off the motor when the gun trigger is released and switches it back on when the trigger is pressed – no manual switch is needed at every work interruption. The hose reel makes it easier to wind and unwind the 15-metre NW6 hose with steel braiding.

Differences between versions and within the K21xx series

K 2175 TS and K 2175 TST have identical pressure, output, 400V power supply and Total Stop system – the only difference is the reel and hose length: TS has a 10m hose without a reel, TST has a 15m hose on a reel. Across the K2160/K2175/K2195 series, the letter "T" in the name denotes the reel, not Total Stop, which is standard across all versions. The K 2160 (TS/TST) runs on 230V with pressure up to 140–160 bar; the K 2195 (TS/TST) also runs on 230V, but with pressure adjustable up to 170–180 bar and a lower water flow rate (8 l/min, nozzle 2503). The K 2175 is the only model in this group powered by 400V.

Power supply and connection

The unit requires a 400V socket (CEE plug) and a three-phase installation – according to the factory wiring diagram, the supply cable is 4 x 1.5 mm². Connection to a standard 230V socket is not possible.

Compatibility

The entire high-pressure circuit – hose, gun, lances – uses the D12 connector standard. Nozzle 25042 and lances Vario-Jet 042 and Schmutzkiller 042 are shared between K2160 TS/TST and K2175 TS/TST – they do not fit the K2195, which uses a different nozzle (2503) and a different lance series (03).

What is the difference between K 2175 TST and K 2175 TS?|TST has a hose reel and a 15m hose (no. 48.015); TS has a 10m hose without a reel (no. 43.416). Pressure, output, 400V power supply and the Total Stop system are identical in both versions.

What power socket is needed to connect this model?|The unit runs on 400V three-phase (6.7A) and requires a CEE socket plus a three-phase installation. It cannot be connected to a standard 230V socket.

Do accessories from the K2160 TST model fit the K2175 TST?|Yes. The Vario-Jet 042 and Schmutzkiller 042 lances and nozzle 25042 are shared between K2160 TS/TST and K2175 TS/TST. They do not fit the K2195, however, which uses nozzle 2503 and a different lance series.

Can I connect the washer to a water tank, for example rainwater?|The suction lift is 2.5m, so the unit can draw water from an open tank without a pressurised connection, provided the water level is no more than 2.5m below the pump.

Do the reel hose and the gun have different connectors?|No. The hose, gun and lances all connect using the same D12 connector standard, so accessories are mutually interchangeable within this type.
