Float Valve Nut 3/4"

The float valve nut secures the float valve in the water tank wall of Kränzle quadro 599 TST, 799 TST and 899 TST units. The 3/4" pipe thread tightens the valve from the inner or outer side of the tank, holding it in the correct mounting position.

Application

The nut threads onto the threaded body of the float valve, which passes through a hole in the water tank wall. It presses the valve against the wall, providing a stable, tight seat for the mechanism regulating the water inflow into the tank.

Symptoms – when to replace

• Loose float valve – it moves or rotates in the mounting hole
• Water leak around the valve thread despite tightening
• Stripped or worn thread in the nut – it can't be tightened fully
• Corroded nut making disassembly difficult during valve service
• Cracked nut from overtightening during an earlier repair
