Complete valve plug with a built-in valve and internal R1/8" thread for a pressure gauge. Occupies one of the positions in the Junior pump's valve block.
The plug closes one of the valve positions in the pump's valve block while also functioning as a valve at that location and providing an R1/8" thread for connecting a pressure gauge that monitors working pressure. This design combines two functions in a single part, unlike simpler pressure gauge plugs without their own valve mechanism.
Selection is based on reference number 43067 – this variant differs from the neighboring plug 43066 by having the R1/8" pressure gauge thread, so when ordering, confirm whether a gauge is actually fitted at that position in the valve block.
When replacing, compare with the removed plug regarding the presence of the pressure gauge port – swapping it for the version without a port (43066) will make it impossible to connect a gauge at that position.
How does this plug differ from the 43066 version used in the same Junior series?|This variant (43067) has an additional R1/8" thread for a pressure gauge, while the 43066 is a plug with a built-in valve but no option to connect a gauge at that location.
Does the system need to be drained of water before removing this plug?|Yes, replacement requires depressurizing the high-pressure system – it's best to shut off the water supply and release pressure by opening the gun before starting disassembly.
The pressure gauge connected to this plug shows unstable pressure readings – is that the plug's fault?|Unstable readings are more often caused by the gauge itself or air in the system than by the valve built into the plug – it's worth checking the gauge separately first, before replacing the whole plug.
