Brass Pump Valve Plug M18x1,5-1/8"

Valve plug with M18x1.5 thread, with a through-drilled hole with R1/8" thread. Occupies one of the valve positions in the pump's valve block, allowing a pressure gauge to be connected at that location.

Application

The plug closes one of the six valve positions on the pump's valve block, while providing an R1/8" port for screwing in a pressure gauge that monitors working pressure. The remaining five positions are fitted with plain plugs without a hole (M18x1.5, MPN 41011).

Symptoms – when to replace

• Water leak at the M18x1.5 thread where the plug seats in the valve block.
• Leak at the connection between the pressure gauge and the R1/8" port, despite the gauge being properly tightened.
• The thread on the plug or port is worn and the part cannot be tightened fully.
• Visible crack or corrosion on the plug body, especially after prolonged use.

How to choose the right part

Selection is based on reference number 43042 – unlike plain valve plugs (41011), this variant has a through-drilled R1/8" port and occupies only one specific position in the valve block, intended for the pressure gauge.

When ordering, confirm whether the gauge on your unit is fitted directly into this plug, or whether the gauge position is blanked off with a plain plug without a port – this determines whether this specific variant is needed.
